The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has scheduled the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and document verification for the Bihar Police Constable recruitment on December 9, 2024.

Admit cards for the PET and document verification can be downloaded from csbc.bihar.gov.in.

In a recent update, the board mentioned that the cut-off date for the validity of BC, OBC-NCL, EWS, and EBC certificates will be announced later. Candidates will not be disqualified due to this issue.

The written exam for Bihar Police Constable took place from August 7 to 28, with 11,95,101 candidates participating. Out of these, 1,06,955 candidates qualified for the PET.

This recruitment aims to fill 21,391 vacancies in the Bihar Police.

Bihar Police Constable PET and Document Verification: Important Instructions

Here are key instructions from the admit card notification:

  • Admit cards will not be mailed. Candidates who cannot download their cards can visit the board’s office on December 5 and 6 from 10 am to 5 pm for a duplicate.
  • The PET will consist of running, high jump, and shot put.
  • Male candidates’ height and chest measurements will follow the standards outlined in the exam notification.
  • Document verification will occur on the PET day, and candidates will not have another chance for this.
  • Bring the admit card, a valid photo ID (like Aadhar card, driving license, or voter ID), date of birth certificate, intermediate certificate, caste certificate, and other necessary documents.
  • Original documents and two sets of self-attested photocopies are required for verification.
  • Before the physical test, candidates must confirm they are physically and mentally fit and not using any banned substances. Female candidates must declare they are not pregnant.
