CBSE has issued show cause notices to 34 schools for not following its rules and guidelines, urging them to respond within 30 days.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued show cause notices to 34 schools. These schools did not follow the Board’s rules and provisions.
The list of affected schools is available on the official CBSE website and Twitter account. Schools are encouraged to check this list for details.
One reason for the notices is that some schools participated in sports events organized by the ‘CBSE Board School Games Welfare Society’ (CBSE-WSO). This organization is not affiliated with CBSE.
CBSE warned schools against associating with this organization or participating in its events. Failure to comply may lead to further action as per CBSE norms.
Schools are advised to verify any communications from such organizations against the information on the official CBSE website.
Additionally, the show cause notices were issued for not complying with the Affiliation Bye-Laws 2018. Schools must adhere to these guidelines to maintain their affiliation.
Schools that received the notices must respond within 30 days. They should take this matter seriously to avoid potential consequences.
