IIM Mumbai’s AVARTAN 2024 will run from December 9 to 12, featuring industry leaders, workshops, and competitions for B-school students.
The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM) will host the 30th edition of its annual business festival, AVARTAN 2024, from Monday, December 9, 2024.
IIM Mumbai will hold AVARTAN 2024 from December 9 to December 12, 2024.
The event will feature industry leaders and experts from academia. They will engage in a series of conclaves, events, and workshops. Topics will include economic trends, AI-driven market indicators, and the evolving job market, as stated by IIM Mumbai.
The sessions aim to explore strategies for upskilling management students. This will help them align their career choices with future industry demands.
Additionally, over 250 corporates, 25+ CXOs, and more than 8,000 B-school students will participate in the event.
Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai, noted that the festival has evolved into a premier platform for collaboration, learning, and growth.
“We are thrilled to host industry leaders, academicians, and top B-school students on our campus. AVARTAN provides students with opportunities to engage with industry leaders and gain insights that will shape their careers,” he said.

Apart from these sessions, the event will confer awards like the Lakshya Business Visionary Awards. These will honor outstanding business leaders such as Motilal Oswal and Raamdeo Agrawal.
There will also be national-level competitions, celebrity talk shows, and platforms for startups to pitch ideas to investors.
A musical night will be hosted on December 12 featuring singer and music director Amaal Mallik.
