IIT Madras collaborates with Cambtech to provide certification programs in Supply Chain and Logistics, helping students gain practical skills and knowledge for better job opportunities in the industry.
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) has partnered with Cambtech Training and Placement to offer new certification programs in the Supply Chain and Logistics field.

The certification programs create a simulated work environment called a Virtual Office. This setup allows students to experience real-life work situations during their courses, according to a press release from IITM Pravartak.
Moreover, an artificial intelligence platform has been developed to give students a virtual corporate space for conducting financial transactions in real-time.
Additionally, students can explore related information about the IIM CAT 2024 answer key, which is available for download at iimcat.ac.in.
The courses cover various topics, including Supply Chain Management, Chartering Practice, Port and Terminal Management, and International Liners Trade.
Upon completing the course, students will receive a certificate from Cambtech and its knowledge partner, IITM Pravartak.
Prof. Mangala Sunder, the Founder of Digital Skills Academy at IITM Pravartak, emphasized the course’s importance. The goal is to equip graduate students and industry employees with essential skills for employment or reskilling in relevant sectors.
According to Prof. Sunder, trainers will use extensive problem sets and hands-on training to prepare students for competitive exams in the Supply Chain and Logistics sector.
Vaishnavi B Iyer, Founder and CEO at Cambtech, stressed the need for upskilling among candidates aiming for successful placements in Supply Chain and Logistics.
She mentioned that Cambtech’s virtual learning platform will offer a unique training environment through various methods.
The training modules in Supply Chain and Logistics will feature lectures from Prof. G. Srinivasan, an international expert and former Head of the Management Studies Department, who has been with IIT Madras for over 30 years.

The first batch of the course is set to start on January 1, 2025, with registrations closing on December 25, 2024.
