The Indian Air Force has opened the registration for the AFCAT 2025. Candidates interested in the Air Force Common Admission Test for the NCC Special Entry can apply through the official IAF AFCAT website at afcat.cdac.in.
Registration started on December 2, 2024, and will close on December 31, 2024. This recruitment aims to fill 336 positions in the Air Force. Below are the details about eligibility and the selection process.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Age Limit
For the Flying Branch, candidates must be aged between 20 to 24 years as of January 1, 2026. This means they should be born between January 2, 2002, and January 1, 2006.
For the Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) branches, the age limit is 20 to 26 years as of January 1, 2026. Candidates must be born between January 2, 2000, and January 1, 2006.
All candidates must be unmarried when the course starts, and marriage is not allowed during training.
Registration Fees
Those registering for the AFCAT must pay Rs. 550/- + GST as a non-refundable examination fee. However, candidates applying for the NCC Special Entry do not need to pay any fee. Payment can be made via credit/debit cards or net banking.
Other Details
The AFCAT admit card will be available on February 7, 2025. The online examination will take place on February 22 and 23, 2025, at various centers across the country. For more information, candidates should visit the official AFCAT website.
