The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the application correction window for UGC NET December 2024 today, December 14, 2024. Candidates can modify their applications on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The deadline for making corrections is 11:59 PM today. Candidates should act quickly to ensure their changes are submitted on time.

The NTA has stated that no corrections will be allowed after the deadline. Candidates must pay any additional fees through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI if applicable.
This correction window is a one-time opportunity. Candidates are advised to review their applications carefully, as no further chances for correction will be provided.
Registrations for UGC NET December 2024 began on November 19 and ended on December 11, 2024. The last date to pay the online application fee was December 12, 2024.
The examination is scheduled to take place from January 1 to January 19, 2025. The NTA will release the exam city intimation slips and admit cards soon.
The UGC NET is essential for determining the eligibility of candidates for the Junior Research Fellowship and for positions as Assistant Professors in Indian universities and colleges.
UGC NET June Re-exam Results Highlights
The UGC NET June re-exam occurred on August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, and September 2, 3, 4, and 5. Out of 11,21,225 registered candidates, 6,84,224 appeared for the exam, while 4,37,001 were absent.
A total of 4,970 candidates qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), 53,694 for Assistant Professor only, and 1,12,070 for PhD admissions only.
