The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the registration for UGC NET December 2024 today, December 10, 2024. Candidates can apply through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The payment window closes tomorrow, December 11, 2024.

Documents Needed for Registration

To register for the exam, candidates need the following documents:

  1. A recent photograph (10Kb – 200Kb) with 80% face visible against a white background
  2. Candidate’s signature (4kb – 30kb)
  3. Board/University Certificate for name, mother’s name, father’s name, and date of birth
  4. Identification: Bank passbook with photo, Passport, Aadhaar, Voter ID, or other government ID
  5. Qualifying Degree Certificate or last semester marks sheet
  6. Mailing and Permanent Address with Pin Code
  7. Category Certificate, if applicable

Only one application should be submitted. Multiple applications will be rejected.

The application fee is ₹1150 for General/Unreserved candidates, ₹600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL, and ₹325 for SC/ST/PwD and Third Gender. Payment can be made via SBI, CANARA, ICICI, HDFC Bank, Debit/Credit Cards, or UPI.

Registration for CSIR UGC NET December 2024 starts at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The correction window opens on December 12 and closes on December 13, 2024.

The written examination will take place from January 1 to January 19, 2025. The UGC NET December 2024 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with two sections of objective type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between the papers. For more details, visit the official UGC NET website.
